Orlando, FL -- Media Evolutions was awarded the 2006 Billboard Music Awards television graphics show package. Under the direction of the production duo Mark Argenti and Ian McDaniel, Media Evolutions provided the entire award visual packaging, on-site video editing, graphic design, 3D animation, as well as audio mixing for elements such as Billboard show opener, award packages, show logo design and animation, and commercial break lead-outs. Media Evolutions&rsquo ability to offer all services under one roof helped adhere the live-action segments together to create a visually and audibly sensational award show.
The show was executive-produced by Greg Sills and Michael Levitt, directed by Bruce Gowers with Wylleen May as the executive in charge of production. The star-studded music event featured performances and appearances by the year's chart-topping artists such as Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Carrie Underwood, Fergie, Janet Jackson, The Fray, Tony Bennett, Nickelback, Gwen Stefani and Kenny Chesney. The Awards recognized the year's leading artists and songs as determined by record sales, Internet downloads and radio airplay. The Media Evolutions Billboard team consisted of Mark Argenti, Ian McDaniel, Kevin Richard, Steve Wallis, Trevor Kerr, and Tierney Veatch.
